Mugo brings a wealth of top-level management experience from both the private and public sectors.

He is an Electrical Engineer and holds a B.Tech (Electrical Engineering) Degree from Moi University (Kenya),a M.Sc. Degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA) and an MBA from George Washington University (USA).

He is the immediate former Group CEO of Sanlam Kenya PLC.His previous roles include serving in the positions of DG at Kenya’s Vision 2030 Secretariat and Group MD/CEO at East African Cables PLC.

Chief Executive Officer

Steve is an experienced cross-cultural business leader who has successfully handled commercial transformation assignments globally for over 20 years.He is the former Director for Regional Sales & Operations at Safaricom, where he led various teams to deliver customer growth and revenue.

Mr. Okeyo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nairobi, an MBA in Marketing from USIU-Africa and an Executive Leadership diploma from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. Steve is also a certified Executive coach and a visiting Professor of Marketing at ALU Business School in Kigali.             .

Steve Okeyo

MD, Telkom Consumer

Kris has 24 years' experience in the ICT sector. Prior to joining Telkom, Kris was the Deputy CEO at Internet Solutions (IS) Kenya. He is a distinguished fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Kenya Institute of Management. Kris is also the Chair of the United States International University Council, the Governing Council at the Kenya Institute of Management, and the Pan African Agency BTL Africa. He also holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Warwick Business School as well as an International Business Administration Degree, majoring in Marketing, from USIU – Africa. 

Kris Senanu

MD, Telkom Digital

Catherine’s portfolio boasts of twenty plus years’ experience in Human Resources Management with regional (Sub Saharan Africa) and industry experience within the ICT and Financial Service sectors.

Prior to joining Telkom, she was the Chief Talent Officer at Tigo, Tanzania. She has also headed the Human Resources functions at IBM Africa, Ericsson Kenya and Standard Chartered Bank.

An accredited Executive Coach, Catherine holds a first degree in Sociology and an MBA from Maastricht School of Management. She serves as the Chairperson of the board of trustees of Teleposta pension scheme and Teleposta Provident Fund.

Catherine Olaka

Chief Human Resources Officer

Julius has over 15 years’ multinational experience in the Technology sector. Julius joined Telkom in the capacity of Director, Corporate Development before taking his current assignment as Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer.Prior to joining Telkom, he had served at IBM and Nokia Networks among others.

With extensive industry experience and training, Julius holds a Bachelor of Business Information Technology from Strathmore University. He is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy and Management at the same university.

Julius Cheptiony

Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer

John has over 20 years’ experience in the ICT and Telecommunications industry having served at senior management positions in Safaricom, Airtel Kenya and Telkom. While at Safaricom he worked for over 10 years rising from the position of Network Maintenance Manager to becoming its Chief Technical Officer. He was also awarded the Presidential Award of the Moran of the Burning Spear in 2011.

John Barorot

Chief Technology and Information Officer

George has 20 years’ experience working in the software development and telecommunications fields in Kenya, Uganda and the United States. Prior to joining the company, he was the Senior Manager for Enterprise Field Technical Services at Safaricom. He was also a Program Manager for Xerox Corporation in the United States. He has also worked for AT & T-Greensboro, North Carolina and JC Penny Store.

Kebaso Mokogi

Chief Wholesale & Cloud Officer

Mr. Ramji serves as Telkom's Transformation Manager. Prior to joining Telkom, he held the position of COO in an acting capacity at Smart East Africa, Tanzania. Farouk has over 7 years’ experience in Project Management having also been the Project Manager at Smart East Africa. Before this, he was a Project Specialist and a Project Portfolio Manager at Roshan in Afghanistan.

Farouk Ramji

Director, Transformation & Performance

Asienga has 24 years’ experience in Real Estate, specifically in the design and supervision of construction of buildings and infrastructure projects; and management of facilities. Prior to joining Telkom, he managed various projects at East Africa Mace Group (UK), Standard Chartered Bank and Nokia Siemens Network.  

Asienga is a registered Architect and holds several memberships and certifications from the Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK), Project Management Institute and from the National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA). He holds a Masters of Arts in Construction and Project Management and a Bachelor of Architecture (Honors), both from the University of Nairobi.

Asienga Ebole

Director, Real Estate

With 14 years of experience as an advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Wangechi has garnered immense knowledge in the telecommunications industry in the past 10 years. Prior to joining Telkom she worked at Airtel Networks Kenya Limited as the Senior Regulatory Officer, as a State Counsel at the State Law Office and practiced as an Associate Advocate in various law firms. Additionally, she sits on the Telposta Pension Scheme Board in the capacity of legal advisor.

Wangechi Gichuki

Director, Legal Affairs

George has fourteen years’ experience in the Public Relations industry in Kenya, with a focus on ICT. He has 11 years’ demonstrable experience with respect to content generation and packaging for multiple and diverse audiences. Prior to joining the company, George had worked with PR Agency Apex Porter Novelli, handling the East African Community portfolio. He has also worked for the Access Kenya Group, in its Communications, Sponsorship and CSR function. He is a member of the Public Relations Society of Kenya and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations – UK. 

George Mlaghui

Director, Corporate Communications

Mohamed brings a wealth of Supply Chain know-how, industry and ICT experience from the span of his 23 year career. He has a solid track record of directing Supply Chain Management and Strategic Sourcing across AMEA markets.

Prior to joining Telkom, he was the Director of Procurement & Logistics at Roshan Telecom in Afghanistan. He has also held roles with Koryolink (North Korea), Vodafone (Egypt), amongst others. Mohamed has a BSc in Engineering, and a Diploma and an MBA in Project Management. He is also a Certified Associate Value Specialist from Save Int., Canada, a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and a certified PMP.
