Building trust, transparency and integrity in all that we do

Telkom Kenya is proud to be a pillar of Kenya, with a key role to play in building our great nation. As such, we have a responsibility to Kenyans to act with integrity in all that we do and to build an organisation underpinned by trust and transparency, designed to serve wananchi with honesty and respect.

The national drive to build accountability and transparency in government and the private sector is recognised as a critical precondition for development. In light of the development role we play by bringing Kenyans together and enabling people to use our services to build vibrant businesses as a means to generate wealth for their communities, we call on all Kenyans to hold us accountable. We believe that our drive to combat corruption will contribute towards building business confidence in Kenya and will act as a beacon of best practice for other Kenyan organisations.

We officially launched our Anti-Corruption Campaign in June 2008 with the support of the entire staff. We are indeed committed to fight corruption whenever it arises in order to enhance the quality of service we deliver to our valued customers. Such a campaign enables us to protect the company's reputation and to foster a culture of pride and integrity within Telkom Kenya.

We would also like to encourage our customers to partner with us in this initiative.Indeed, what started out as an internal initiative has now grown to touch everything we do, both inside and outside the organisation, in line with our company values of straightforwardness and honesty. We have launched a free hotline number - 0800 22 11 110 - which you can call at any time to report any instance where we have fallen short of living our values. We're on a journey to re-invigorate a zero-tolerance attitude towards corruption and malpractice and we need everyone on board, acting as a public "watchdog" supporting our efforts to reform. Together, we will take Telkom Kenya from good to great for the benefit of all Kenyans - join us now in our quest to build relationships based on trust and transparency to serve Kenya better.
